Volunteer to chit chat at this year’s Sweet Corn and Blues Festival

Sweet Corn Blues Festival Volunteer Sought

Just like in year’s past, the PPC will participate in the Sweet Corn Blues Festival in Uptown Normal.  We are looking for volunteers to be a part of our booth and share information about the PPC.  If you are interested in partnering with the PPC in sharing the value that the PPC brings to our community; then please contact us at info@ppc-il.org.

Over 50,000 ears of fresh sweet corn, sidewalk sales, arts, crafts, and flea market vendors await you on the streets of Uptown! Come out and enjoy the fun, food and some of the best blues music around. The festival is held over two days in late August and is a great way to welcome back the students at Illinois State University.

Sweet Corn Blues Festival 2018 will take place Saturday, August 25 from 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, August 26 from 11 am to 4 pm  on North St. from Fell to the Circle and E. Beaufort St. from the Circle to Linden St.  We’ll keep the celebration going until we run out of corn!

If you would like to volunteer, but this time doesn’t work for you then visit our Volunteer page to see any other opportunities to help out.
